For the first time, Bowmen of Warfield will be offering Indoor Classification badges to our members, for Archers shooting Recurve, Compound, Barebow and Longbow.
Indoor Classifications work in the same way as Outdoor Classifications, but are letters, starting from ‘H’, through to ‘A’ the highest.
In order to gain a classification, three witnessed qualifying scores must be achieved and submitted to the Records Officer (Heather Gierth).
The club will award your current achieved Indoor Classification badge (for scores received by 31st December 2015), plus any higher Classifications achieved in the future, free of charge. If you would like to collect lower Classification badges, you can purchase these from the Records Officer at £3 per badge. Contact the Records Officer for additional badge requests.
The below table shows the minimum scores that need to be achieved for each Classification in a Portsmouth round. The scores are applicable for archers of all ages. An equivalent table of handicaps is available from the Records Officer. As there are no official scores for Indoor Barebow and Longbow, appropriate scores are based on relative handicaps and their associated scores for Outdoor rounds.
